  • What should I do if I've run into some issues after the Marshmallow update?

    If the phone is stuck on logo or is experiencing bootloop issues after Oxygen 3.0.2 OTA for the OnePlus 2, please try the following solutions

    Recover Solution #1 (Wipe cache, this will clear app setting data but will retain user data)

    1. Go to recovery by holding power button + volume down
    2. Choose English
    3. Choose 'Wipe data and cache'
    4. Choose 'wipe cache' (This will only clear app settings data, other data on the internal storage will not be erased)
    5. Choose 'Yes'
    6. Choose 'Reboot'

    Solution #2 (Wipe data and cache, this will clear app setting data and erase user data)

    1. Go to recovery by holding power button + volume down
    2. Choose English
    3. Choose 'Wipe data and cache'
    4. Choose 'Wipe data and cache' (this will clear app settings data and erase internal storage data)
    5. Choose 'Yes'
    6. Choose 'Reboot'

    Solution #3 (Adb sideload ROM file)

    1. Download v3.0.2 ROM from OnePlus support website (http://downloads.oneplus.net)
    2. Turn off device and boot into recovery mode (By holding power button + volume down)
    3. Choose English option
    4. Choose Install from USB option in the recovery screen
    5. Tap OKbutton.
    6. A screen with “You are in sideload mode” will be displayed
    7. Connect your device to PC (PC / Mac must have adb pre-installed)
    8. Run the following command
    9. For windows:  “adb sideload       <filename>”
    10. For Mac: “./adb sideload <filename>”


    For devices with the following OS versions  v2.2.0 / v2.2.1 / v2.2.1-2 to v3.0.2 (MP18)

    Solution (Adb sideload ROM file)

    1. Download v3.0.2 from OnePlus support website (http://downloads.oneplus.net)
    2. Turn off device and boot into Recovery mode (By pressing power button + volume      down)
    3. Choose Englishoption
    4. Choose Install from USBoption in the recovery screen
    5. Tap OKbutton.
    6. You will see “You are in sideload mode” device screen
    7. Connect your device to PC (which has adb pre-installed)
    8. Run the following command
    9. For windows:  “adb sideload <filename>”
    10. For Mac: “./adb sideload <filename>”
