OnePlus is seeking an exceptional individual to help lead, structure, and coordinate our communications activities across Europe. This job requires a great understanding of different PR activities, a good knowledge of the media landscape as well as a very rigorous approach to project management. You should be comfortable about engaging conversations with new people and have outstanding interpersonal and relationship skills. Being a cross-European function, you need to be very structured in your work approach and have excellent organizational skills. Finally, there are high expectations on your written English, as you will be expected to draft innovative and engaging copy to convey our messages to the press. This is a full-time position based with the OnePlus team in London, United Kingdom and will support OnePlus’ Head of Europe PR & Communications.
  • Assist in developing and leading the PR strategy across the EU
  • Manage external PR agencies ensuring best practices are adhered to
  • Assist building and implementing annual PR plans, ensuring it’s fully integrated with other marketing channels, and timely delivery of results
  • Building and managing relationships with influential print, digital and broadcast journalists or thought leaders within the tech world
  •  Reputation management
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Proven International PR experience in an in-house or agency environment
  • Consumer product and tech industry experience preferred (existing media relationships in one of these sectors is a plus; journalist references appreciated)
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills – including the ability to represent the business at the highest levels internally and externally
  • Media spokesperson experience an additional bonus
  • Comfortable with tight deadlines and ability to handle changing requirements as well as multiple overlapping projects at one time
  • Excellent writing and communications skills
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
